At Beanstalk Search Engine Optimization we believe that education is the key to making any wise business decision. We spend time each day researching and testing our tactics, visiting forums and reading newsletters from other search engine optimization firms to keep ourselves fully updated on what's going on in the SEO-world.
Below you will find links to some of the better resources that we have come across in our travels. These links will take you to sites with additional information on search engine positioning and search engine positioning firms.
Should you know of any reason why one of the companies listed below should not be on the list please contact us and let us know including the reason. We will contact them and assess their eligibility.
ClickTracks is the single best log analyzer that we have found to date. This little tool allows webmasters, SEOs and business owners to view more about their website visitors than you can imagine. It will not only allow you to determine what keywords are bring people from which engines (most stats will do that) but it will go further to help you determine where these people are going on your site, what pages they are visiting and even what links they are clicking to get there and whether they purchased your produce/service or not.
You really have to see it to fully grasp the power behind this tool. View the additional details and watch their Flash demo.
We started using this tool after we'd been using WordTracker (below) for a while. This tool definitely wins on a number of fronts from analysis to flexability. Of course, it's always good to have a couple tools to reference to make sure your data stands across multiple engines and databases.
The Google Keyword Tool
Get your keywords "from the horse mouth". On July 9, 2008 Google started to show estimates on searches/mth for keywords. Please note though, this is for AdWords advertisers and it defaults to "broad match" which shows every search that includes those keywords. Switch it to "exact match" for searches only for the phrase in question.
If you own or are affiliated with a quality search engine positioning resource that you believe should be on this list we are happy to hear from you. That said, companies listed on this page have basically been given Beanstalk's "seal of approval" in the eyes of our site visitors and we take this responsibility very seriously. There are specific criteria which are noted on our "Partnership Application" page. Don't bother submitting your website if it doesn't match these requirements as you'll only be wasting your (and our) time.
