W3 Edge web design, out of Boston, MA is a truly impressive design firm. Their ability to create highly attractive designs and still keep those websites W3C compliant is exceptional. Additionally, their creative use of a number of technologies provides effects until now couldn't be done in a search engine friendly way.

Frog On Top Web Design: Los Angeles, CA
Frog On Top Studios herald out of Los Angeles, CA and provides a variety of web design services ranging from HTML, Flash to more complex database driven websites. We at Beanstalk have know both Jeff Kneller and Rob Van Vlijmen from Frog On Top for a number of years and continue to be impressed with their aesthetically excellent designs and search engine friendly structures.

Operating out of San Rafael, California, ComBridges specializes in search engine friendly custom web design. Attractive designs and redesigns that get spidered easily, ComBridges easily made Beanstalk's recommended design companies list.

LogoWorks.com Logo Design
Logo Works is a branch of HP (so you know it's got a big name behind it). Their designs are excellent (at least the ones we've seen) and the pricing (from $299) seems very reasonable. Their prodocts range from logo design and business cards to websites and promotional products. They have multiple designers working on projects which implies that you'll get multiple takes on your needs and their system seems streamlined to save time. This may not be the option for those wishing to spend hours of their time chatting with their designer on the phone or in their office but for those who know what they want and simply want a professional company to create unique designs around their corporate image, LogoWorks would be an excellent choice.
