Since DMOZ has become all but useless, Best of the Web (the oldest running directory) has become the most valuable and through directory on the web. For the price of a listing (less than $240 for a lifetime listing with this discount) it's higher on our list than even the Yahoo! directory which is, of course, a solid directory as well though a bit overpriced for a lot of people's needs and budget.

To submit to BOTW and get the discount you simply need to find the correct category and use the discount code SINCE94.

Best Of The Web - the oldest and arguably best of the strong directories is offering 25% off on submissions for the month of March. They offer annual and permanent listings for either $99/yr or $249. Personally - we opted for the permanent listing and at 25% off - probably a good choice for you too.

It's a trusted directory with a great reputation. As a word of warning though - if you've got a horrible site they will decline you. They actually do review sites and decline bad ones.

Best Of The Web (my personal favorite Internet directory now that DMOZ is essentially DOA) is offering a deal on their already solid pricing for submissions.

BOTW charges $99 per year or $249 for a permanent listing in their directory. A much better value than the $295/yr from Yahoo! in my opinion (but that's just my opinion).

As a warning, they do actually refuse sites so if you have a horribly designed site or offer no value to your visitors, don't bother applying. But if you do have a solid site and you do want a great listing, it's well worth the look.

To make it better, they're now offering 25% off for the month of December. You need to enter the Promo Code BLIZZARD and the discount will be applied.
